We Are One: Colony Ridge and ILTexas Unite for Special Olympics Event in Cleveland, Texas
Colony Ridge proudly supported ILTexas's Special Olympics celebration in Cleveland, Texas — a day of inclusion, courage, and community connection in Liberty County.
CLEVELAND, Texas — Last weekend, athletes, families, teachers, and volunteers gathered in Cleveland, Texas for a Special Olympics event hosted by International Leadership of Texas (ILTexas) — and Colony Ridge was proud to be there every step of the way.
The event was exactly what Special Olympics is built on: celebrating ability, championing inclusion, and reminding everyone present that determination looks different for every person — and that every form of it deserves to be cheered.

A Day Defined by Heart
From the first game to the final cheer, the energy in the room was electric. Athletes from across the area took the field with the kind of focus and grit that stops you in your tracks. Whether crossing a finish line, completing a challenge, or simply encouraging a teammate, every moment carried weight. For the Colony Ridge team, being present wasn't just an opportunity to support a great event — it was a reminder of why community investment matters. Watching athletes compete with such pride and resilience is the kind of experience that stays with you.
The Village Behind the Event
None of it happens without the people who show up to make it possible. Students, parents, ILTexas teachers, and volunteers created an environment where every athlete felt seen, celebrated, and supported. That kind of intentional care — the kind that makes a person feel like they belong — doesn't come from logistics. It comes from people who genuinely believe in what they're doing. Colony Ridge is grateful to have been counted among them.

More Than a Community — A Partnership
Colony Ridge's relationship with ILTexas is built on a shared belief: that the strongest communities are the ones that look out for one another. From educational partnerships to events like this, Colony Ridge is committed to showing up for the people and institutions that make Liberty County a place families are proud to call home. Supporting the Special Olympics event was an honor. And it's the kind of work Colony Ridge looks forward to doing more of.
