Position Summary:

As a Lead Developer for Colony Ridge, you will be responsible for mentorship and technical management of a small development team. You will participate in code review, collaborative design with business leaders and the software architect, and assist in testing, debugging and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• N-Tier & Clean Architecture – Proven experience layering Presentation, Application, Domain, and Infrastructure with enforced boundaries
• Asynchronous Programming – Mastery of async/await to avoid deadlocks and thread-pool starvation
• SOLID & Clean Code – Writing maintainable, testable code and enforcing separation of concerns
• Unit & Integration Testing – Mocking repositories and services, testing authorization flows end-to-end
• RBAC Design – Modeling Roles, Permissions, Access Levels, per-user overrides, and encoding/decoding claims
• Leadership & Mentorship – Consulting on architecture and technology decisions, conducting thorough code reviews, and writing clear design documentation.

Knowledge and Experience:

• C# / .NET Core (6+) – Deep expertise building and maintaining large-scale ASP NET Core MVC apps
• Entity Framework Core – Mastery of Code-First, Db Context configuration, fluent API (On Model Creating), migrations, and performance tuning
• Repository & Unit-of-Work Patterns – Designing async repositories, DI of Db Contexts, and ensuring transactional integrity

Colony Ridge Development LLC is seeking a Survey Technician to join our Land Development team in our New Caney, TX office. Colony Ridge has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals, dedicated to providing high-level professional services for all phases of our developments. We are currently developing and building a large community in Liberty County requiring professional services in such categories as residential land development, commercial and industrial land development, streets and other public works projects, parks, schools, regional survey control, and other items necessary to develop and build a large city/community.

Job Description:

The Survey Technician will assist Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, legal description, field work and computing survey points.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assisting Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, legal description, and computing survey points
• Perform field work and crew management.
• Processing of raw field data through Civil 3D
• Ability to utilize survey field equipment.
• Perform QA/QC checks
• Coordinate and work with field crews and other office staff
• Lead by example – display solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism.

Preferred Experience:

• An Associate Degree in Surveying, Engineering Technology, or related area of study
• SIT Certification
• Land Development, both Commercial and Residential, and Public Infrastructure Projects

• Experience searching for/recovering Public Land Survey System monuments
• Processing and drafting utilizing LiDAR point clouds and imagery
• TBC Scanning Module preferred

The Registered Professional Land Surveyor is responsible for preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering and surveying projects. They are also responsible for communicating effectively with project managers and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.

Job Description:

The Survey Party Chief is responsible for leading a field surveying team, ensuring accurate data collection using various instruments and software. Responsibilities include supervising and training crew members, performing calculations, reviewing plans, maintaining equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and producing accurate survey reports and drawings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Direct and coordinate the activities of a survey field crew, providing guidance and training to junior technicians.
• Oversee and conduct construction staking, boundary surveys, control network establishment, GPS surveys, and as-built surveys.
• Set up and operate surveying instruments like total stations and GPS receivers.
• Collect and record field data accurately using data collectors.
• Perform mathematical calculations and ensure proper reduction of field notes.
• Maintain organized records of field notes, sketches, and data files.
• Ensure survey equipment is in proper working condition through regular inspection and calibration.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to protect the survey team and other workers on- site.
• Coordinate survey activities with project managers, engineers, clients, and contractors.
• Prepare and review survey reports, maps, and drawings for project documentation and client presentation.

Preferred Experience:

• Proven experience as a Survey Party Chief or similar role in civil construction.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of survey computations, field operations, plan interpretation, and standard office procedures.
• Experience with a variety of survey instruments and technologies, such as total stations, GPS, and data collectors.
• Strong understanding of survey principles and technical standards.
• Knowledge of relevant software, including CAD programs and other surveying software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field.
• Possess a minimum of a High School Diploma.
• Has a minimum of 4+ years of experience.

Job Title: Lending Compliance Officer
Department: Compliance

Position Summary:

The Lending Compliance Officer is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and supporting compliance across Colony Ridge's owner-financed lending operations.

This position will review loan files, underwriting decisions, disclosures, marketing practices, servicing activities, policies, and procedures to identify potential compliance risks and ensure consistent application of applicable federal and state requirements.

The Lending Compliance Officer will serve as a subject-matter resource to Underwriting, Sales, Loan Servicing, Closing, Finance, and Legal and will assist in maintaining a strong lending compliance program throughout the entire loan lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review loan files, disclosures, underwriting documentation, and closing documents for compliance with applicable federal and state lending requirements.
• Monitor compliance with applicable requirements under TILA, ECOA, Fair Housing Act, FCRA, RESPA where applicable, and applicable Texas lending and consumer-credit laws and regulations.
• Conduct periodic loan-file audits, quality-control reviews, and compliance testing.
• Monitor underwriting practices for consistent application of established lending and underwriting standards.
• Conduct or support fair lending monitoring and analysis to identify potential disparities or inconsistent treatment.
• Review lending advertisements, marketing materials, customer communications, and sales practices for compliance.
• Maintain and update lending compliance policies, procedures, controls, checklists, and monitoring tools.
• Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments and recommend appropriate controls.
• Track regulatory and legislative changes affecting Colony Ridge's lending operations and communicate applicable changes to management and affected departments.
• Prepare compliance reports, audit findings, risk assessments, and corrective-action recommendations for senior leadership.
• Track identified compliance deficiencies through resolution and verify that corrective actions have been appropriately implemented.
• Investigate and assist with resolving consumer complaints involving loan terms, disclosures, underwriting, servicing, or other lending practices.
• Support responses to regulatory inquiries, examinations, audits, and other compliance reviews.
• Assist with the development and delivery of compliance training for Underwriting, Sales, Closing, Servicing, and other employees involved in the lending process.
• Maintain complete and accurate compliance documentation and records to support audit and examination readiness.
• Partner with Legal, Underwriting, Loan Servicing, Sales, and Finance while maintaining appropriate independence in monitoring and reporting compliance matters.
• Escalate significant compliance risks, violations, or recurring deficiencies to the appropriate level of management.
• Maintain current knowledge of regulatory developments, enforcement actions, and industry practices affecting the Company's lending activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, Accounting, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in lending compliance, regulatory compliance, consumer finance, mortgage lending, banking, loan auditing, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of federal consumer lending and fair lending requirements.
• Understanding of applicable Texas lending and consumer-credit requirements.
• Experience reviewing loan files, disclosures, policies, or lending practices for compliance.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and documentation skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate compliance requirements effectively to employees who do not work in compliance or legal functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment when handling sensitive financial, legal, and personal information.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with land financing, seller financing, owner-financed transactions, contracts for deed, or real estate lending.
• Experience with fair lending monitoring or testing.
• Experience conducting internal compliance audits or quality-control reviews.
• Experience supporting regulatory examinations, audits, or government inquiries.
• Experience developing or maintaining a compliance management system.
• CRCM or other relevant compliance certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is a plus.
